Ndo completes Bohs switch

Cameroonian midfielder Joseph Ndo has completed his move to Premier Division and FAI Cup holders Bohemians, where he will work with former boss Pat Fenlon.

Ndo makes the Gypsies the final leg of the 'big four' in Dublin, having already played for Saint Patrick's Athletic, Shelbourne and most recently Shamrock Rovers.

The former Cameroon international originally moved to the League of Ireland in 2003 when he left Chinese club Chengdu Wuniu to join St. Pat's. A short spell there came to an end in mid-2004 when he joined Shels, where his role in the Reds' title triumph that season was limited due to injuries. He remained at Tolka Park for a further two seasons before, as a result of the club's implosion, departing after winning a league medal in 2006.

He then returned to Inchicore, however, again, like throughout his stay in Ireland, his playing time over 18 months at Richmond Park was minimal due to injuries. Eventually, after a falling out with manager Johnny McDonnell and a request to leave the club, Ndo spent the second-half of last season on-loan at Shamrock Rovers.

The 32-year-old becomes Fenlon's fourth new recruit at Dalymount Park this close season, after the Bohs boss snapped up former Drogheda United pair Brian Shelley and Paul Keegan, along with goalkeeper Matt Gregg from UCD, during the past week.

The club, incidentally, enter their first pre-season friendly next Sunday when they take on Lokomotiv Moscow in Cadiz, Spain.
