Hanna Glas adds sharpness to Swedish squad for Ireland double header

Peter Gerhardsson has named his Swedish squad for the upcoming home and away games against the Girls in Green.

The Blågult began their EURO2025 qualifiers with a 1-1 draw against European Champions England at Wembley before losing 1-0 at home to France to leave them third in the table.

Sweden and Ireland met during the successful qualification for both teams for last year’s Women’s World Cup. Sweden beat Ireland 1-0 in Tallaght, with the match in Gothenburg ending in a 1-1 draw.

Hanna Glas is back in the squad after a long absence due to injury, with Hammarby forward Ellen Wangerheim called up to the women's national team for the first time.
