Shamrock Rovers add another friendly

Shamrock Rovers have announced another friendly as manager Michael O’Neill slowly completes his pre-season schedule. Rovers have added a third game to their warm-up programme with the latest opposition being Irish League side Newry City.
The game will take place at the Showgrounds on 10 February, with the Hoops’ trip to Longford Town, originally set for that date, being put back a week. Before either of those, Rovers will make the short trip to LSL outfit Tolka Rovers.
A home friendly at the club’s new stadium in Tallaght has yet to be announced, however, reports suggest that Shelbourne will provide the opposition on 21 February for Rovers’ first game at the ground.
