Dundalk have announced their first four pre-season fixtures of 2024 in advance of the league kick off in mid-February.

For the Lilywhites three of those fixtures are at Oriel Park and then they make the short trip to north Dublin for the fourth fixture.

The fixture list is:

Thursday Jan 18th, Friendly v Longford Town, Oriel Park, 7.45pm KO

Sunday Jan 21st, Leinster Senior Cup v Malahide Utd, Gannon Park Malahide, 2pm KO

Friday Feb 2nd, Leinster Senior Cup / Malone Cup v Drogheda Utd, Oriel Park, 7.45pm KO

Monday Feb 5th, Leinster Senior Cup v Bohemians, Oriel Park, time TBC.

The Leinster Senior Cup tie against Drogheda doubles up as the annual Jim Malone Cup match between the County Louth sides. Drogheda won the corresponding fixture in January 2023, beating Dundalk 6-5 on penalties after the two sides played out a 0-0 draw.

Dundalk Head Coach Stephen O’ Donnell will be looking to these four games to integrate new signings Dara Keane (ex-UCD), Koen Oostenbrink (ex-FC Eindhoven) and Robbie Mahon (ex-Motherwell) with experienced stalwarts such Andy Boyle, Robbie Benson and Darly Horgan in advance of their league campaign.

The Lilywhites kick of their 2024 league campaign with a tough away trip to take on champions Shamrock Rovers at Tallaght Stadium on Friday Feb 16th, 8pm KO.
