Tottenham Hotspur has secured the signing of Israeli international Manor Solomon in a deal running until 2028.

The 23-year-old forward, who began his career at Maccabi Petah Tikva and moved to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2019, has gained experience playing in the UEFA Champions League and English Premier League.

Solomon started his professional career at 17, scoring eight goals in 73 appearances for Maccabi Petah Tikva.

This performance led him to Shakhtar Donetsk, where he won the domestic league twice, and the Ukrainian Cup and Super Cup, across his 106 appearances.

His tenure at Shakhtar also marked his debut in the UEFA Champions League, becoming the youngest Israeli to score in the competition.

Prior to the 2022/23 Premier League season, Solomon joined newly-promoted Fulham on loan, where he netted five goals in 24 appearances.

His scoring, including goals in three consecutive Premier League games, earned him a nomination for the Premier League's Player of the Month award for February.

On the international front, Solomon has 35 senior caps for Israel, including a notable goal in a 1-0 victory over Scotland in the UEFA Nations League in 2020.

Speaking to SPURSPLAY, Solomon expressed his delight at joining the North London club.

“I’m really excited to be here, to come to a big club like Tottenham is a dream come true for me," he said. He voiced his anticipation of working with the new manager and pledged to give his best to the club.

“I can’t wait to see the team and to meet the manager. It’s going to be different with the new manager. The football will be more offensive, more attacking, it will entertain our fans. I can’t wait for the season to start," Solomon added.

Echoing the new manager's style, Solomon stated, “I spoke with the manager and understood what he wants and what he demands from the team, from the wingers in particular, I know he wants to see attacking football, to see pressure, to have the ball, to play really attacking football that will entertain our fans."

"I think I am suitable for this challenge, and I can fit the team. I will do whatever I can to help the team to succeed, to improve as a player and try to improve the team.”
