Dan Nlundulu, who spent the second half of the previous season on loan at Bolton Wanderers, has made a permanent move to the club from Southampton, signing a three-year contract.

The 24-year-old forward was involved in aiding the team's run to the League One Play-Offs under manager Ian Evatt.

Nlundulu's new contract sees him committing his future to Bolton Wanderers until the summer of 2026, after being with Southampton since 2013, where he made 12 Premier League appearances.

On the contract signing, Nlundulu stated, "I’m really looking forward to being back. I enjoyed my loan spell and I feel at home here. We initially had the conversation in the January transfer window and there was only one place I wanted to go and that was here. I’m happy that it is all done now."

Nlundulu also praised the club's fans, saying, "The way the fans have been has meant a lot to me and I want to pay them back now by performing."

Nlundulu acknowledged manager Ian Evatt's role in his decision to return to Bolton.

He said, “The gaffer is a big reason why I’m here. Football is all about confidence and the fact that I’ve got the manager backing me, that’s the best thing I can ask for. I’m thankful that he has put his belief in me, and I’ll be trying my hardest to pay him back."

With optimism for the new season, he added, "I feel like there is unfinished business here and there is healthy competition within the squad, so we all need to work together to get the Club where it needs to be. I’m excited to get a full pre-season under my belt and I can’t wait to get started now.”
