Shels face Bohs as draw for FAI Cup Quarter-Final made

The draw for the FAI Cup quarter-final was made on Tuesday evening on RTÉ 2FM and it has resulted in a Dublin derby clash between Shelbourne and local rivals Bohemians.

There is one other all Premier Division tie as Shamrock Rovers will travel to the Ryan McBride Stadium to take on Derry City.

Waterford, who eased past Malahide United in the previous round, will take on Dundalk. It will be the Lilywhites third time to face a First Division opponent in this year’s cup competition having dispatched Longford Town and Wexford.

The final tie sees Treaty United take on UCD. The Limerick side has faced non-league opposition so far in the cup.

The fixtures will be played on the weekend ending the 18th September, 2022.
