First Division Wexford have confirmed that defender Kevin McEvoy has re-signed with the club ahead of the 2021 First Division campaign.
The defender joined the Slaneysiders from Premier Division Shelbourne ahead of the 2020 season, mainly playing with the club’s under-19 side.
While at Wexford’s under-19s, the 19-year-old played under James Quinn – the same side were knocked out of the under-19 Shield by Cabinteely.
However, McEvoy – after making his debut against Cobh Ramblers – went on to make 8 appearances in total throughout the season.
The defender played in both central defence and full-back as Wexford ultimately finished bottom of the First Division table in 2020.
