Cork City -v- Galway United

Galway United and Cork City face each other tomorrow night in Turner's Cross, both on the back of victories in their last game against Derry City and Cliftonville respectively. While both sides will be looking for the three points tomorrow, the Leesiders will be hoping for a bumper attendance in order to help themselves out of the financial quagmire that they have gotten themselves into.

City's sole absentee for tomorrow night’s game is prolific striker Fahrudin Kuduzovic as he misses tomorrow's game through suspension while Galway are missing John Russell for tomorrow while Shane Guthrie returns to the fold.

Cork manager Paul Doolin is eagerly anticipating tomorrow night’s meeting with Galway, and speaking to press, he stated his admiration for the opposition while still expecting three points from his side.

“I have no doubt that Galway will be tough opponents for us again”, said Doolin, “I watched their game against Shamrock Rovers last week, and despite being defeated I thought they played extremely well; they had some good passages of play and had chances to take the lead. We had a great win at Terryland a couple of months ago and I will be looking for more of the same on Friday.”

For those fancying Galway to make it two away wins on the trot, Paddy Power are offering a tempting 9/2 while Cork are priced at 4/7.

Fahrudin Kudozovic is an amazingly short 9/2 to appeal his suspension, take to the pitch tomorrow, and score first for the Leesiders so maybe the bookies know something we don't! For Galway to be kept scoreless by Dan Murray and Co. is 5/6, and does look a good bet seeing that Galway have been struggling since the departure of Jay O'Shea to “them across the water”.

Weather for tomorrow's game is unpredictable. While sunny spells are forecast, so is torrential rain. Winds are said to be moderately strong for the game.

Extratime.ie Prediction; Cork to march on and deliver Galway right back to the verges of relegation trouble.
