The draw for the semi-finals of the Irish Cup produced a potential north Belfast derby as Cliftonville could face Crusaders, if the Setanta Cup holders should overcome Lisburn Distillery after their 1-1 quarter-final draw at Seaview.

Goals from Eamonn Seydak and Martin Donnelly saw Cliftonville safely past amateur side Kilmore Rec while Crusaders needed a Timmy Adamsen goal to cancel out Aaron Boyd’s opener and send the match to a replay on Monday 11th of March.

The other semi-final will see Portadown face an in-form Glentoran side that have gone eight games unbeaten in all competitions.

Two goals from Kevin Braniff and a penalty from Darren Murray eased Portadown past a disappointing Coleraine side and Glentoran beat nine-man Knockbreda 3-1 with goals from Jay Magee, Andrew Waterworth and an own goal from Jim McMenamin.

The semi-final ties are due to take place at neutral venues on Saturday 6th of April.
