Thomond Park will host Limerick FC's home fixtures for the 2013 Airtricity League campaign.

The traditional home of Munster rugby has a capacity of over 26,000 with in excess of 15,000 seats. Both terrace and stand tickets will be made available to spectators.

Limerick are no strangers to Thomond Park, having played there as recently as August against Manchester City and will hope that despite overlapping seasons with Munster Rugby, the pitch condition will maintain its high standard.

The Shannonsiders hosted both Young Boys of Berne and Torino at the northside venue in the sixties and seventies and will hope that the ground acts as a motivational catalyst for them to return to European football.

Thomond Park will be home to Limerick until the spiritual home of Limerick soccer; Markets Field, is ready. The club hope to be in place there for the beginning of 2014.

The first clash the venue will, rather suitably, be an all-Munster affair when Cork City travel to Limerick on Friday, March 8th.
