The Saints launched their new kit on Tuesday morning.

St. Patrick’s Athletic presented their brand-new third kit for the season via social media on Tuesday morning.

The Inchicore side made the announcement on social media that the special edition green kit will be worn the friendly against Minnesota United on St. Patrick’s weekend.

St. Pat’s announced back in January that the club will be heading stateside during the international break to face the MLS outfit.

The 2023 FAI Cup winners will face the MLS side at Allianz Field, Saint Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday March 20th.

This ground-breaking match will be the first time that a League of Ireland club will travel to play an MLS team in season since the inception of the MLS in 1996.

St Patrick's Athletic General Manager Anthony Delaney when speaking to the club media team called the match a ‘great and unique opportunity’ for The Athletic to face the American team.

"It is a great and unique opportunity for St Patrick's Athletic to test our squad against Minnesota United.

“The MLS has shown rapid growth in the last number of years so it will be exciting to play a team from this league.

“We were introduced to our colleagues in Minnesota United by friends of the Club and once we found an available date that suited both teams, it was an easy fixture to set.

“There is a big Irish American community locally and we will be in town for St Patrick's Day and with the fixture occurring a few days later, this will no doubt add to the occasion."

Elsewhere in the League of Ireland, Bohemian’s have been dealt a huge blow for the season
