Dundalk bolster ranks with Scott High and Zak Bradshaw joining on loan

Premier Division European hopefuls Dundalk have unveiled the double loan signing of Scott High and Zak Bradshaw ahead of the start of the 2024 season.

High joins the Lilywhites from Huddersfield Town on an initial six-month loan deal - while Bradshaw does the same from Lincoln City.

22-year-old High has made over 50 appearances for the Terriers in the Championship and was most recently on loan at Scottish top-flight outfit Ross County.

“To play that many games in the Championship at the age of 22 shows the calibre of player we’re getting with Scott and I think it shows how ambitious we are in terms of our recruitment,” Dundalk boss Stephen O’Donnell told his club’s website.

“He’ll give us good energy and good quality in the middle of the park and he’s looking forward to getting into a rhythm after his last loan move to Ross County was cut short due to injury.

“We’ll give him a good platform here to go and express himself and help us until the summer.”

Meanwhile, Bradshaw will be hoping to make his mark at Oriel Park after joining on loan from Lincoln City.

Oisin Gallagher and Hayden Cann, both of Lincoln, will be lining out against Bradshaw this term in Premier Division with Dundalk’s Louth foes Drogheda United.

The 20-year-old is a centre back by trade and joined the Imps last week from Ipswich Town. He spent the first half of the English league season on loan at Woking.
