Abby Larkin is the latest Ireland WNT player on the move.

The former Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers player joined Glasgow City after her return from the World Cup.

The 18-year-old attacker has now joined Crystal Palace in the English Championship, where she joins fellow Ireland internationals Hayley Nolan and Izzy Atkinson (who recently joined from West Ham United).

Speaking to cpfc.co.uk the 16 time senior capped player said: "I'm absolutely buzzing and I can't wait to get started with the girls.

"The facilities are unbelievable and it's my dream to play in English football. I'm looking forward to settling into the club and getting closer to the girls, focusing on my football, enjoying it and hopefully developing more as a player."

Her new head coach Laura Kaminski said: “We’re delighted to welcome Abbie, a player of enormous talent and potential, to Crystal Palace.

“We feel that she will be an excellent addition to our existing forward options, and we look forward to working with her to further her – and the team’s – exciting development.”

Other Ireland players who are with new clubs this month include Jessie Stapleton (Reading on loan) and Roma McLaughlin (Shelbourne).
