Brighton & Hove Albion have confirmed the completion of Adrian Mazilu's transfer.

The Romania under-21 international, who originally agreed to join Albion last summer from FCV Farul, has now been loaned to Vitesse Arnhem for the remainder of the season.

During his time at Farul, the 18-year-old winger made 46 appearances, scoring nine goals and assisting four times.

David Weir, Brighton's Technical Director, spoke highly of Mazilu, stating, “We have been monitoring Adrian and he has done well in Romania. He now has a new challenge with Vitesse in a new league and environment, and we will continue to track his progress closely.”

In another move, Brighton have secured the signing of Kamari Doyle from Southampton on undisclosed terms.

Doyle, an 18-year-old midfielder, joined the Saints' academy at nine and signed his first professional contract in 2022. He has also represented England at the under-19 level.

Weir expressed his enthusiasm for Doyle's arrival: “We’re delighted to welcome Kamari to the club. He will initially join up with Shannon Ruth’s under-21s... He has a lot of attributes for a midfielder and he has already had some first-team experience during his time at Southampton. We’re looking forward to seeing him develop over the next few months.”

Finally, Brighton have announced the signing of 19-year-old goalkeeper Steven Hall from Adelaide United, also on undisclosed terms.

Hall has agreed to a contract running until June 2027 and will be part of Shannon Ruth’s under-21 squad.

Ruth commented on Hall's signing, saying, “We’re really looking forward to working with Steven. He is a talented young goalkeeper who suits our style of play and has had some really positive first team exposure with Adelaide... He will add good competition to our goalkeeping group and we are excited to see him develop in our environment.”

Hall made history as the youngest goalkeeper in the A-League when he debuted on New Year’s Day in 2022, aged 16. He has made three appearances for Adelaide and debuted for Australia's Under-23s in November 2023.
