The Republic of Ireland Men’s Under-15 football team is set to host Australia Under-16s in Dublin.

The team, coached by Jason Donohue, is coming off a triumphant win at the UEFA Development Tournament in Serbia last November, where they defeated Greece, Serbia, and Venezuela.

Donohue has selected a 19-player squad for the upcoming friendly, with eight players receiving their first call-ups.

The squad includes seven Shamrock Rovers players, four from St Patrick's Athletic, three from Cork City, two each for Dundalk and Sligo Rovers and Shea Callery from Chicago FC United.

Ireland had previously secured a 3-1 victory over Australia in last year’s fixture with goals from Jaden Umeh and Michael Noonan. In 2020, Ireland beat the Australian side 2-0.
