Heidi O'Sullivan has extended her stay with Cork City in the Women's Premier Division.

O'Sullivan transferred from Treaty United to  the Rebels last season and impressed under City boss Danny Murphy.

The former Lakewood schoolgirl was a member of the Treaty United under-17 side that won the league title in 2021 and grabbed 14 goals on the way to the title.

Making her senior debut with Treaty's senior team in 2022, the 18-year-old called it a day in Limerick in 2023 during her second season at the club and transferred to Turner's Cross.

The striker made 11 appearances in green last season with high expectations for the 2024 season.

The former Ireland under-16 international will play a pivotal role in Murphy's side's 2024 campaign up-front.

O'Sullivan also captained the FAI Munster under-15 schools side in 2019 and was also a member of the international schools side of the same age group.

"I'm delighted to sign back with the club for the season ahead," she told corkcityfc.ie.

"After last season me and all the girls are determined to put things right and show everyone what we are made of.

"I can't wait to see to give everything I can to the team to compete at the level we all know we can."
