The 26-year-old Danish goalkeeper boasts 162 league appearances, including a standout season at Preston North End where he was named Player of the Year.

Iversen, who was part of Denmark's Nations League squad, made his Premier League debut in March and has since appeared 12 times in the top-flight for Leicester.

Ricky Martin, Stoke City's Technical Director, shared insights into the signing.

“We have been tracking Daniel since January of last year,” he said. Martin highlighted Iversen's diverse experiences across all four divisions, noting his successful Championship stint with Preston and his recent Premier League introduction.

“Upon learning of Daniel’s availability, we acted quickly,” Martin added.

Iversen expressed his excitement about the move.

“I have known of the interest for a couple of transfer windows,” he said.

“This feels like the right time for me to come here.”

Reflecting on his Premier League experience, Iversen believes it has enhanced his skills.
