Karl O'Sullivan has completed his switch to Galway United from Sligo Rovers.

O'Sullivan, 24, joins the newly promoted Terryland side from their Connacht rivals.

The striker brings impressive experience, having had spells at Limerick FC, Finn Harps, and with Ireland's U-21s.

Since making his first team debut in 2020, he has made over 100 appearances in the league and scored 10 goals.

He joins a Galway side aiming to make an impact in the Premier Division after their promotion last season.

Speaking to the club's website, O'Sullivan expressed his enthusiasm about the move: "It’s a massive club. I’m absolutely delighted to sign for Galway United."

"I’m really looking forward to getting started and hopefully chipping in with some goals and assists throughout the year,” he added.
