Maggie Pierce extends her stay at Tolka Park putting pen to paper for another season with Shelbourne in 2024

“I’m very excited to re-sign with Shelbourne for the 2024 season,” she said, speaking to the club’s media team.

“A massive thanks to everyone at the club, including the girls, coaches, supporters, and all the staff members for making the past year so enjoyable.

“I’m looking forward to getting back to work with Eoin and the girls and I’m confident we will build off our success from last season.”

The 22-year-old, originally from the US, played with her college team, Tar Heels in North Carolina appearing in a grand total of 80 games for the team before signing across the pond for Shelbourne FC.

Having only joined the club in February 2023, the USA under 17 defender has played over 29 games with The Reds. Following a stellar season in Dublin 9, Pierce ultimately earned herself the 2023 "1985 Player of the year award."
