Enda Curran pens new deal to stay with Treaty United

Enda Curran will play at the Market's Field in 2024 after signing a new deal with the Limerick side.

In 2022, Curran enjoyed a stellar season having netted crucial goals in an FAI Cup quarter-final and a play-off semi-final.

He picked up the FAI Cup top scorer award, along with Treaty player of the year, PFAI First Division Team of the Year and a nomination for PFAI First Division Player of the Year.

The striker, 31, played 22 games last season for the Shannonsiders and scored 14 times - playing a pivotal role in Treaty’s push for a promotion play-off.

Curran enters his third season with huge backing from the Treaty faithful, becoming a fan favourite from his time at the club.

With the departures of Dean George to Longford Town, and Success Edogun to Finn Harps, Treaty will rely on Curran for their source of goals, alongside new signing Yoyo Mahdy from Bray.

“I’m delighted to be signed up for the 2024 season," he said.

"The last two seasons have been incredible and I’m looking forward to being back at Market's Field.

“The fans have been incredible and have played a huge role for us. Hopefully they can kick us on further in 2024."
