Italian ref Marco Di Bello to officiate Ireland game in Amsterdam

UEFA have appointed Serie A referee Marco Di Bello for Saturday evening’s EURO 2024 qualifier between the Nederlands and the Republic of Ireland.

The 42-year-old Italian ref has been on the FIFA list since 2018.

He took charge of Ireland’s UEFA Nations League 3-0 home win over Scotland in June last year.

Last season he was the ref in charge of Linfield’s 2-0 home defeat to Zurich in the Europe League qualifiers and in 2016 was fourth official for Dundalk’s Champions League match away to FH.
