Troy Parrott and Caoimhín Kelleher have been recalled to the Ireland squad for next week’s Euro 2024 qualifying concluder away to the Netherlands after shaking off early-season injuries.

Striker Parrott - who is on loan at Dutch Eredivisie side Excelsior from Tottenham Hotspur - has earned his call-up after netting three goals in eight appearances in the league.

And Kelleher, who will replace Allison Becker in nets for Liverpool’s Europa League game in Toulouse tonight, has shaken off the minor injury that kept him out of the Greece and Gibraltar games last month.

Ireland’s sole Champions League representative, Celtic’s Liam Scales, retains his spot after playing 90 minutes in both the Greek and Gibraltar games.

Andrew Omobamidele also retains his place in defence despite failing to make a matchday squad since moving to Nottingham Forest from Norwich City on deadline day.

And Nathan Collins, who was withdrawn at half time in the 2-0 defeat to Greece at Lansdowne Road, is also named after netting Brentford’s winner against West Ham United on Sunday.

Striker Evan Ferguson, who will line up for Brighton & Hove Albion at Ajax tonight, is named the forward line alongside Luton Town’s Chiedozie Ogbene and Cardiff City’s Callum Robinson.

Ireland take on the Dutch at the Amsterdam Arena on Saturday, November 18th before James McClean calls time on his international career at home to New Zealand on Tuesday the 21st.

The All Whites clash may also be Stephen Kenny’s last game in charge of the Boys in Green as the FAI consider their options for the World Cup 2026 cycle.
