WEXFORD

Wexford have the opportunity to grab a play-off spot this Friday when they face promotion rivals Treaty United at Ferrycarrig Park (kick-off is 7:45pm).

A victory would extend their dominant run to three games following recent wins over Bray Wanderers in the league along with Avondale United in the FAI Cup.

This is a true battle to snatch fifth place from Bray, with the latter facing Galway at Eamonn Deacy Park. Wexford are just two points behind Ian Ryan’s side, with Treaty a further point below.

Both Aaron Dobbs and Danny Furlong are close to fitness after recent injuries, but loan signing Thomas Oluwa and youngster Eoin Kenny have been clinical since joining, so Wexford have options up front.

Brandon McCann returns from suspension to strengthen the midfield, however defender Darragh Levingston misses out following a late red card against Bray.

TREATY UNITED

The Limerick side sit just one point below Wexford in the table, so this is a huge clash in terms of a promotion push for both sides.

Last week saw them lose 2-0 to Cork City in the FAI Cup, with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Kerry and a draw with Bray coming before that.

Both fixtures between Wexford and Treaty this season have finished in a 1-1 draw, so it will be a tight affair.

Darren Nwankwo misses out due to suspension after receiving a red card last week, however Wexford fans may spot a familiar face if Jordon Tallon makes the squad following a recent switch to Limerick from the South East.
