Crystal Palace Women's football team has announced the appointment of Laura Kaminski as their new head coach.

Kaminski, an experienced tactician with a diverse coaching portfolio, transitions into her new role after serving as the women’s first-team assistant coach at Charlton Athletic.

Kaminski's coaching journey spans over 15 years and traverses multiple clubs. She spent five years at the Football Association where she steered the England’s U19 team.

Her coaching pedigree was further honed during a three-year spell as assistant at Tottenham, where she contributed significantly to the team's promotion to the Women’s Super League for the first time.

Kaminski has also held coaching roles at Arsenal, Brighton, Watford, QPR, and Chelsea.

Expressing her delight at Kaminski's appointment, Grace Williams, Head of Women’s Football at Crystal Palace, highlighted the extensive experience that Kaminski brings to the role.

"Laura impressed us with her experience within, and knowledge and understanding of, the game. She possesses a stand-out attitude in terms of valuing, respecting and developing her players, and an exciting vision of what she wants to implement, and how," said Williams.

Kaminski expressed her excitement about joining Crystal Palace Women, lauding the club’s facilities and its passionate staff.

“It’s a great opportunity and an honour to join Crystal Palace, and I’m looking forward to getting started straight away and getting out onto the grass for pre-season.

“My first impressions of the club have been fantastic. The club’s facilities are amazing but, most importantly, they’re filled with people who are proud and passionate to work for this football club."
