Due to extreme weather conditions making the pitch unplayable, the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division match between Treaty United and Waterford, scheduled for tonight, has been officially postponed by the League of Ireland.

The decision to postpone the match was made following a pitch inspection conducted at the stadium at 13:30. With poor weather conditions predicted to persist according to the forecast provided by Met Eireann, the field was ruled unfit for the scheduled encounter.

The League of Ireland is yet to announce a new date for the fixture. The re-scheduling information will be communicated to the clubs, players, and fans in due course.
