Billy McKay has signed a contract extension which will see him remain at Inverness Caledonian Thistle until the summer of 2025.

The striker has made nearly 250 appearances for the club across three spells and has 100 goals to his name. He is now just one goal away from breaking the club record set by Dennis Wyness.

“We’re delighted that Billy has extended his stay with the club. Billy is a key player for us, he was our top scorer last season and is an ultimate professional.,” Inverness Head Coach Billy Dodds said, speaking to the club’s website.

“While he had offers from a number of clubs, some of whom were competitors in the Championship, the club had worked hard to make sure that Billy helps get us back into the Premier League and stays where he belongs, here at Caledonian Stadium.”
