Tom Bloxham, the 18-year-old attacking midfielder, has completed his move from Tottenham Hotspur to Blackburn Rovers.

Following a successful trial period with the Rovers, Bloxham signed a two-year professional contract that will keep him at Ewood Park until June 2025.

Bloxham has built a significant football profile from a young age. He joined Tottenham Hotspur's academy at just seven years old and went on to help the team secure the U18 Premier League Cup.

His talents were not only recognized domestically but also on the international scene, as he played for the Republic of Ireland Under-17s and England Under-17s, alongside Ash Phillips.

Last season, Bloxham got a taste of the Blackburn Rovers' setup during a trial spell. He featured in Premier League 2 fixtures for the Under-21s against Brighton and Fulham, performances that were instrumental in securing him a permanent move.

Speaking about his new challenge, Bloxham said, “I’m really excited and really looking forward to what’s to come.”

“It was an easy decision when you look at the clear pathway for young players to move between the age groups and hopefully I’ll get an opportunity to play at this amazing stadium and show the fans what I’m all about.

“The facilities and the people around the Academy here are top class, so I want to repay the trust and belief they have shown in me, as a player and as a person, with good performances and with goals and assists," he concluded.

Bloxham is eager to excite fans and show them what he’s all about.

“I’m a creative dribbler with the ball, I like to make things happen and hopefully I’ll be able to excite the fans and get them off their seats. I can’t wait to show them what I’m all about."
