Everton have announced their retention list for players ahead of the 2023-24 season.

They have offered new contracts to club captain Seamus Coleman, midfielder Tom Davies, and goalkeeper Andy Lonergan.

This is in addition to the announcement last month of the extension of Abdoulaye Doucoure’s deal until June 2024.

Leaving the club is Yerry Mina, Andros Townsend and Asmir Begovic.

Coleman, who is the current captain for Republic of Ireland, has been at the club since arriving in a £60,000 deal from Sligo Rovers in 2010.

He has gone on to play over 350 times for the side since then and scoring 22 goals.

He is currently undergoing treatment for a knee injury suffered against Leicester City which caused him to miss the end of season run-in.
