Notts County Football Club has confirmed the addition of player Will Randall to their roster. The 26-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the club following his recent departure from Sutton United.

Randall was a key part of Sutton United since joining them in 2019. His contribution was significant in their promotion from the National League and subsequent establishment in the English Football League.

The board of directors at Notts County expressed their excitement about the new signing in an official statement.

"Will is a player we tried to sign earlier this year, so we’re delighted to eventually bring him to Meadow Lane," they said.

The board further praised Randall’s versatility and skills, stating, "He’s direct, an excellent set-piece taker and a goal threat who is comfortable on both flanks, while also having the qualities to cover the number-eight role."

They added that Randall is "very disciplined out of possession and is a great character who we think will add a lot to the squad."

The 26-year-old has had a previous working relationship with Notts County's management team, specifically Luke Williams and Ryan Harley, from their shared time at Swindon.

Randall began his football career at his hometown club, Swindon. After graduating from the club’s academy, he made several appearances in League One.

Despite an offer from AFC Bournemouth, he transferred to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2016 when he was 18.

While at Wolves, Randall signed an extended contract and had the opportunity to play for their development squads, gaining further experience with loan spells at Walsall, Forest Green Rovers, and Spanish side FC Jumilla.

Prior to his time at Sutton United, he spent a brief period at Newport County.
