English Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion have announced the signing of Republic of Ireland under 19 international Jamie Mullins.

The 18 year old makes the move to Brighton from Bohemians signing a contract until June 2025 with the midfielder set to link up with the club’s under 21 side initially.

“We’re really pleased to welcome Jamie and we’re excited to begin working with him,” Brighton’s under 21 head coach Shannon Ruth said, speaking to the club’s website.

Mullins progressed through the ranks at Dalymount Park and made his League of Ireland Premier Division debut for the club during the 2021 season.

He now joins fellow former Gypsy Evan Ferguson at Brighton, the forward having scored his first goals in the Premier League for the club in recent days.

“I can’t wait to get started. I played alongside Evan Ferguson at Bohemians and we know each other really well,” Mullins told the club’s website.

“We spoke a lot about what Brighton has to offer young players and the pathway they have, so it made it a really easy decision to join.”
