The Under-19 National League continued on the weekend with a full series of games.

2022 U19 Tier 1

In Tier 1, St. Patrick’s Athletic registered a massive win against Dundalk as the Saints leapfrogged the Lilywhites into top spot thanks to a 2-0 win. Jason Folarin Oyenuga and Ben Curtis gave Pats all three points which sees them move to 27 points.

Cork City maintained their pressure on the top two with a 4-2 win over Galway United thanks to a brace from Bradley Walsh and one-a-piece from Mark O’Mahony and Franco Umeh.

Elsewhere in Tier 1, Shelbourne took the points in a Dublin derby against Bohemians, Gbemi Arubi and Stephen Negru on the scoresheet for the Reds in a 2-1 win.  

Waterford United registered a 4-0 win over Sligo Rovers while goals from Kieran Cruise and Noan Priour sealed a 2-0 victory for Shamrock Rovers over UCD.

2022 U19 Tier 2

Goals from Tiernan O’Brien McAllister, David Eguaibor and Ben Buckley gave Cobh Ramblers a 3-0 win over Bray Wanderers lifting them to the top of the Tier 2 table as Treaty United drew 1-1 with Athlone Town.

Drogheda United, with a game in hand over the top two, kept the pressure on, with a 1-0 win over Derry City. Emre Topcu with the only goal of the game.

Finn Harps recorded a 5-2 win over Longford Town while Kerry and Wexford played out a 1-1 draw.

2022 Women’s U19 Tier 1

DLR Waves leapfrogged Shamrock Rovers in the Tier 1 table thanks to a Joy Ralph goal which places the Waves on 18 points, two ahead of Shamrock Rovers and Wexford Youths. The Youths also recorded a victory as they ran out 3-0 winners over Shelbourne.

In the other game of the group, Peamount United beat Cork City by three goals to two. The Dublin side had been 2-0 up but the Rebel Army fought back to 2-2 only to lose out in the dying moments of the game.

2022 Women’s U19 Tier 2

Athlone Town stretched their lead at the top of the division thanks to a Scarlett Herron goal giving the Midlanders a 1-0 win over nearest rivals Bohemians.



Sligo Rovers recorded a 3-0 win over Bray Wanderers while Carlow-Kilkenny and Galway draw 1-1.
