Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trappatoni has announced his 23-man-squad that will face Brazil in the upcoming fixture arranged by event organizers Kentaro, on the 2nd of March in the Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal FC.

The squad includes three uncapped players, Marc Wilson of Portsmouth, Greg Cunningham of Manchester City and James McCarthy of Wigan Athletic, as he strives to build his squad for the upcoming 2012 European qualifiers. Brazil will be at full strength for the game except for the exclusion of Ronaldinho.

"I look forward to working with my squad again after the disappointment of Paris," said Trapattoni. "The priority now is to build on the progress made during the last campaign and prepare ourselves over the coming months mentally and tactically for an important Euro campaign."

League of Ireland fans will be disheartened however by the exclusion of Brian Murphy of Ipswich, former Bohemians goalkeeper, who many had felt had earned his chance to play in the green shirt.
