Republic of Ireland international Ellen Molloy helped herself to a first half hat-trick for Wexford Youths on Saturday against Cork City.
Having returned from being part of the Ireland squad that drew in last Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier in Sweden, her goals helped Youths to a 5-1 home win over the Leesiders.
She opened the scoring after only two minutes and doubled her side’s lead ten minutes later getting onto Orlaith Conlon’s through ball to take the ball around Abbie McCarthy in the City goal.
She rounded off her first half hat-trick with a superb finish into the top corner of the net.

City scored just before the hour mark through a Becky Cassin header but Kylie Murphy grabbed a couple more goals - one off a Molloy assist - to see the game finish 5-1 at Ferrycarrig Park.
Youths sit third in the WNL table three points behind Shelbourne and Peamount United.
