Former Shamrock Rovers starlet Kevon Zefi scored twice and grabbed three assists on his Inter Milan debut this afternoon.

The former Hoop made his move to Italy official just this week to link up with their under-17 side.

He joined the club after starring in the First Division for Shamrock Rovers II during the 2020 season.

Zefi also became the youngest ever senior League of Ireland goalscorer in September 2020 during a 2-1 defeat to Longford Town at Tallaght Stadium.

The teenager has since gone on to impress on his Inter Milan debut, scoring twice and grabbing three assists on his first game for the club.

Inter ran out 7-0 winners over A.S. Cittadella with Zefi playing a major role in the comprehensive win for the Milanese outfit.

The highlight of his showing was a superb panenka from the spot to all but end the game as a contest.

Just last week, Rovers confirmed that Zefi made his move to Inter official.

And shortly after his move was confirmed, the Ireland under-17 international thanked those in Tallaght for their role in his development.

“Thomas Morgan and Dessie Baker helped me to grow as a player and I have to thank them for that and for all the advice they gave me.

“I really appreciate everything they did for me in the short space of time I worked for them.

“I’d like to thank also Aidan Price for giving me the opportunity to play for the B team last season and express myself and I’d like to thank Shane Robinson, head of the Academy.”
