Watch: Johnny Kenny scores three as Sligo sail past Bohs
18-year-old Sligo Rovers forward Johnny Kenny scored a hat-trick for the Bit O’Red this evening in a stunning 4-0 win over Bohemians.
The result sends Sligo level on points at the top of the table with Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick’s Athletic after 18 games.
Sligo started the better of the two and took the lead through Kenny who slotted home after pouncing on a James Talbot parry into his path.
Kenny was on hand to coolly dispatch the rebounded effort on across Talbot and into the bottom corner.
