Six players commit to Cabinteely ahead of 2021 season

Five players have re-signed for Cabinteely with Peter Quinlan, Vilius Labuti, Cian Kelly, Dan Blackbyrne and Benjamin Clarke all committing to the Dublin side ahead of the new season.

Dean Casey also returns to the club for a second spell after spending the last two seasons with Athlone Town.

Casey made his debut for Cabinteely in 2017 and the winger went on to make 37 appearances for the club.

The winger began his career with Shamrock Rovers before making the move to Dublin rivals Bohemians in 2016. He initially went on loan to Cabinteely in 2017 before making the move permanent the following year.

Labutis came through the underage ranks and made his debut for the club in 2019 and has gone on to make 33 appearances, scoring 4 times.

Quinlan, Kelly and Clark have also come through the youth system at Stradbrook. Quinlan and Kelly have 4 and 2 appearances for Pat Devlin’s side respectively, while Clark has made one appearance.

Dan Blackbyrne has also penned a new deal having made 39 appearances since debuting for the club in 2017.
