Bray Wanderers -v- Dundalk

Bray Wanderers host Dundalk at the Carlisle Grounds on Tuesday night (kick-off: 7.45pm) as Wanderers continue their struggle to avoid relegation while the Lilywhites will be looking to keep their slim chances of qualification for European football alive.

Bray will go into this game with both Gary McCabe and Derek Foran absent. McCabe is struggling with an ankle injury while Foran misses out with a groin problem.

Seagulls' boss Eddie Gormley lamented his side's wasteful finishing in the defeat to St. Patrick's Athletic and is hoping the players will improve against Dundalk: "I was disappointed with the result on Friday night. We probably created the better chances but, once again, we didn't take them. We need to start taking these chances. It will be tough against Dundalk but, if the players give as much as they have been giving me, we will be in with a chance but it's crucial we start taking the chances we are creating."

Dundalk are without the services of four players: Thomas Heary, Chris Turner and Kevin McKinlay are all suspended and Mickey Collins is out with an ankle injury. Dundalk do, however, welcome back three players after Paul McAreavey, Simon Kelly and Michael Coburn all recovered from injury.

Sean Connor is expecting his side to face a stern test in Bray: "It will be very tough. They're a good side and they actually play a decent game. They're a quick side too, they have a bit of pace about them, so we know that they're going to be up for it. I felt down there the last time that we probably deserved to get all three points, but certainly the last game here was a tight affair, and I don't expect this one to be any different."

Extratime.ie prediction: 1-1. In three previous meetings this year, Dundalk have won once and the other two matches have been drawn. It is hard to see either side winning this one.
