Bohemians have announced that Andy Lyons has re-signed for the 2021 season.

Lyons joined the club’s U17s in August 2016 from St Joseph’s Boys and made his first team debut in June 2018.

This follows on from the news earlier in the month that Rory Feely, Stephen Mallon and Bastien Héry have also signed for the club for the upcoming 2021 campaign.

The 20-year-old Dubliner made the right back position his own in the 2020 season until a broken arm resulted in him missing the end of the season.

Lyons has been capped for Ireland all the way up to U19 level and there had been rumours of interest from across the Irish Sea. However, he has committed to the Phibsborough club for another season and Keith Long will see this as a key signing as he continues to compete his squad for the season ahead.
