Cork City secured the under-17 women's league title with a 2 - 0 win over Shamrock Rovers in the run-up to Christmas.

A first half penalty from Oliva Gibson and a goal a minute before the hour mark from Laura Shine helped the Leesiders secure the league title in the final played in Athlone.
