Wexford confirm re-signing of striker Kieran Murphy for 2021

First Division Wexford have confirmed the re-signing of striker Kieran Murphy ahead of the 2021 season.
19-year-old Murphy re-signs for the Slaneysiders after impressing with the Wexford underage set-up since the 2019.
The former Ferns United schoolboy has since gone on to make one start and three substitute appearances for Wexford in the First Division.
“I want to make this club better, and I want to score goals,” Murphy told Wexford’s media team after re-signing.
“I know it's going to take time, I'm only 19. If takes 6 months or more to even get an appearance, that's what it'll take but I'm willing to wait.”
He added: “Ferns was a big part of my background, they taught me a lot up there through the managers.”
