First Division Cobh Ramblers re-sign Stephen O’Leary and Darryl Walsh

First Division Cobh Ramblers have confirmed that both Stephen O’Leary and Darryl Walsh have re-signed for the club for 2021.

Both are among the first two to re-sign for the Rams for 2021 as they went mightily close to reaching the First Division Play-Offs.

Stuart Ashton’s side were denied of a play-off finish thanks to a costly scoreless draw at home to Shamrock Rovers II on the final day of the season.

Club Academy Graduate and former Ringmahon Rangers schoolboy O’Leary is one of the two to re-sign. He has been at the club since 2016, making 40 first team appearances.

And Darryl Walsh has also re-signed, and he is excited to get back underway as a Cobh player for 2021.

“I’m delighted to be back on board,” Walsh told Cobh’s media team. “It was tough to finish up last year by just missing out on the play-offs. But we’ll use that to push us harder now in 2021.

“We’re all eager to build on what we did last season and I just can’t wait for the first game to come around!”
