Patrick McGarvey pens two-year professional contract with Finn Harps

Premier Division Finn Harps have confirmed that goalkeeper Patrick McGarvey has signed a two-year professional contract with the club ahead of the 2021 season.

McGarvey has since become the fifth player to re-sign for the Co. Donegal side for next season.

The young shot-stopper has come through the club’s underage ranks – and he has since earned his first pro deal at the club.

“I’m absolutely delighted to sign a pro deal with the club,” McGarvey told Harps’ media team.

“Coming up in the under-15s it's every boy’s dream to sign for the first team so I am over the moon.”

He added: “Ollie and the club have shown great faith in me by giving me a two-year deal so hopefully I can kick on now next season.”

Harps boss Ollie Horgan added: “Paddy is a good lad and isn’t shy about putting the work in.

“He’s still very young and has a long way to go but this is the first step for him now and he's on the right track.”
