Bohemians winger Kris Twardek joins Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok

Premier Division title hopefuls Bohemians have confirmed the departure of 23-year-old winger Kris Twardek.

The Canadian winger departs Bohemians after making twelve appearances for the club this season.

He joined the Gypsies after a prior stint at top-flight rivals Sligo Rovers where he made 47 appearances for the Bit O’Red during the 2018 and ’19 campaigns.

The former Millwall academy star played in Bohemians 3-1 win over Shelbourne at Tolka Park on Saturday evening.

While at Dalymount Park, he scored once, with his only goal for Keith Long’s side coming in their 2-0 win over his former side Sligo earlier this year.

“I just want to send a message to the Bohemians supporters. Best of luck for the rest of the season and I’d like to say how much of a privilege it was to put on the Bohs jersey,” Twardek said after completing the move.

“It’s a fantastic club, and thank you to my teammates, coaches, and everyone at the club. I can’t say how much I’ve appreciated everything.”

Jagellonia currently find themselves in 7th position in the Polish top-flight, and they are two points ahead of Legia Warsaw.

However, Legia have played a game less than Jagellonia so far this season.
