League of Ireland Premier Division champions Dundalk have been handed an away tie against NK Celje of Slovenia in the Champions League first-round.

The Lilywhites will be away from home against the Slovenian champions, although it is not yet known where the game may take place.

However, what is known is that the game will take place on either the 18th or 19th of August.

Elsewhere, Northern Irish champions Linfield – should they see off Kosovan champions Drita on Tuesday evening – will face Polish champions Legia Warsaw.

This will also be a single leg tie which will be played behind closed doors in Poland on a date to be confirmed (either the 18th or 19th of August).

Meanwhile, Glasgow Celtic will face KR Reyjkavic at home, while Welsh champions Connah's Quay Nomads will host FK Sarajevo.
