Dates for 2020/2021 MSL start and Munster Senior Cup Final revealed

The 2020/21 Munster Senior League will kick off the weekend of the 14th of August, the Munster Football Association has confirmed.

The organisation have also announced that the 2020 Munster Senior Cup final between Cork City and Rockmount will be held on either the fourth or fifth of August.  

The 2019/20 Munster Senior Leagues we're made null and void last March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some Cork clubs have already returned to competitive action with Ringmahon Rangers bowing out of the 2019/20 New Balance FAI Intermediate Cup last weekend with a 3-2 defeat to Killester Donnycarney at Ringmahon Park.  Other clubs, such as Midleton, Rockmount, and Carrigaline United, began the season with finishing their 2019/20 Munster Senior Cup campaign. 

Other clubs have been engaged in friendlies since the beginning of July, with a number of clubs having played against Cork City and Cobh Ramblers.
