Millwall confirm Molumby set to stay on loan until the end of the season while McNamara triggers contract extension

Sky Bet Championship side Millwall have confirmed that on-loan midfielder Jayson Molumby will remain at the club until the end of their Championship campaign.

News of Molumby’s retention comes as the club have also noted that Danny McNamara has had a contract extension triggered.

Also, Irish international forward Aiden O’Brien has also seen his contract extended until the end of the 2019/20 season.

Molumby has played a key role in the Lions 2019/20 campaign to date, making 31 appearances for the club thus far.

In March, the Waterford native signed a new three-and-a-half year deal with his parent club Brighton and Hove Albion.

McNamara extends his stay at the New Den after spending most of the 2019/20 season on loan at League Two Newport County.

Elsewhere, forward Aiden O’Brien’s contract has been extended until the end of the 2019/20 season, while Northern Irish international Shane Ferguson has also put pen to paper on a new deal.
