All Five of Ireland's representatives in Europe recieve Uefa licenses

The FAI’s Club licensing committee has confirmed that Derry City, Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians and Dundalk have all been awarded Uefa licenses ahead of their European fixtures later this summer.

Peamount United have also been granted a European license and will be entered into the Uefa Women’s Champions League.

Uefa are due to meet tomorrow to decide on the structure and indeed when they might be able to fit in the qualification stages for next season’s Champions League and Europa League football.

In a day of meetings, tomorrow is also due to be the day that the FAI meet with Premier Division clubs to try and secure support for a deal that could potentially see the season restart later this summer.
