Non-league Crumlin drawn at home to Bohemians in FAI Cup quarter-final derby

Leinster Senior League champions Crumlin United have been drawn at home to Premier Division high-flyers Bohemians in the quarter-final of the FAI Cup.

Martin Loughran’s side saw off fellow LSL side Lucan United at Armagh Road on Sunday afternoon to become the final non-league side remaining in the competition.

Crumlin’s reward is a home tie with the side currently third in the Premier Division, although the tie may have to be moved to Dalymount Park or another location if Armagh Road isn’t up to scratch.

The Crumlin Boys drew Dundalk at home in 2017 and were forced to move the tie from Pearse Park to the Iveagh Grounds in Crumlin.

Holders Dundalk have been drawn away to Waterford and UCD face a tough trip to Sligo Rovers after producing one of the shocks of the round against St Patrick’s Athletic.

Shamrock Rovers’ quest for a record 25th FAI Cup continues away to Galway United, who produced the giantkilling of Cork City at Eamonn Deacy Park on Friday night.

FAI Cup quarter-final draw:

Galway United v Shamrock Rovers

Sligo Rovers v UCD

Waterford v Dundalk

Crumlin United v Bohemia
