Watch: Ireland captain Katie McCabe hits spectacular hat-trick for Glasgow City

Republic of Ireland captain Katie McCabe scored the first goals of her loan spell at Glasgow City as she scored a hat-trick in Sunday's 6-0 win over Jeanfield Girls.

Her former Raheny United and Shelbourne teammate Noelle Murray was also on target as City easily progressed to the semi-finals of the Scottish Women's FA Cup.

Murray opened the scoring just before the half-hour as she controlled a long ball forward from Leanne Ross, spun and volleyed the ball into the bottom corner.

Arsenal loanee McCabe notched her first for the club ten minutes before the break as she peeled away from the defender and latched onto Ross's through ball before coolly slotting the ball home.

She nabbed her second before the break, heading home a Abbi Grant cross, as Glasgow took a healthy 4-0 lead into the break.

And McCabe saved the best for last as Jeanfield failed to clear a corner and Joanne Love laid the ball off for the Kilnamanagh native to slam the ball first-time into the top corner.
